Love the trails here! Whether you want to hike, run, walk, moutain bike, road bike, horseback there is a trail for you! It is peaceful and not really a lot of activity. The scenery is gorgeous so you don’t get bored. The trail goes to lower alexander lake so you definitely can get in some miles!
I love this park! I come here all the time with my friends & family! I definitely recommend, great long trails! You can ride your bikes here & if you have kids there is a playground & a large pavilion you can sit under. Around the park there is also plenty of benches to sit on as well on the main trail.
This place is ABSOLUTELY beautiful. Especially on a fall morning. Wildlife is everywhere and it’s a great place to take nature photos. My dog and I would love to visit again.
What a fun set of trails and a beautiful display of nature. I saw geese, beautiful birds and the river. These trail are beginner to intermediate with lots of fun jumps, bumps, gullies and hard packed berms. Well maintained and a great jumping off point for road bike paths as well.
Super nice. Hiked from Monestary to Panola Mountain state park around 10.74 miles. A lot of up and downs because of the rolling hills. Well maintained. Bridges over looks of the river. Very cool.
