Great place for sports especially Softball
We had a birthday party at the pavilion and playground. The playground was super impressive, with activities for all age ranges. Highly recommended
Played over 55 softball tournament there is weekend. Great fields and outstanding grounds crew. Got back on the fields in 1 hour after a torrential downpour.
Algonkian park is so beautiful along the Potomac river. Great park probably best in area for kids all ages.
We LOVE the playground here! It just got a new upgrade, and is more inclusive than ever before.
There are different sections within the playground for different ages; swings, slider, things to climb on, and more. The main playground is three levels high, and you can reach the highest slide by stairs or through climbing up and going through the levels.
We LOVE the giant rope obstacle you and swing on, the zip lines, and monkey bars. One zip line has a swing you can sit in, there are multiple swings you can sit in with support as well, and lots of support for climbers of all abilities. There’s a merry go round too!
This playground keeps my very active kids, 3 and 8, very busy. I love that there are plenty of benches and tables nearby for the grownups to sit at, AND a little free library at the entrance that is thoughtfully stocked and updated.
Do not miss this great playground!
