Mandy was absolutely amazing! This is my second experience using Off Leash K9 training and I couldn’t be happier! (First time was one on one classes) I have a stubborn yet extremely sensitive/timid Aussie who has given me a run for my money training wise and what she did in two weeks would’ve taken me minimum of a year to accomplish! I got daily updates both photos and videos of his progress and as any pet parent I couldn’t wait for these updates. Mandy has checked in multiple times since having him home to make sure that the transition has gone well and given helpful tips to keep him progressing in his training. I have recommended multiple people to Off Leash from my other experience and I will continue to recommend them to others.

I searched everywhere for the perfect dog training company that would train my dog, Caleb, but also love him as much as I do. Mandy exceeded my expectations. Communication every day about what was learned that day and just silly photos of my buddy in his true form. I could not have asked for a better trainer. I am so thankful for the time she took with Caleb, he’s stubborn like his mama. It’s amazing to see the progress he made with the one week board and train program. 100% worth the money and would HIGHLY recommend Mandy to any and everyone!! Thank you so much Mandy!!!

We sent our mixed-breed dog, Captain, to Michelle at K9 Off Leash in Sterling for a two-week training program, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. He came back a completely transformed pup — still the same sweet personality, but now with focus, manners, and confidence.

Captain now knows how to sit, place, heel, and stay inside when the door opens — a huge improvement from before. One of the biggest surprises was how much he genuinely enjoyed training. He gets excited just seeing us pull out the e-collar because he associates it with fun, off-leash adventures and learning. During his time with Michelle, he got to run free on park trails and absolutely loved it.

Before training, walks could be a challenge, especially when other dogs were around. Now, he walks calmly at my left side and no longer pulls — it’s like walking a different dog. The structure and consistency Michelle gave him made a world of difference.

The investment was 100% worth it. We’re so grateful to Michelle for her expertise, care, and the incredible work she did with Captain. Highly recommend to any dog owner looking for lasting results!

Mandy has been amazing to work with. She has instilled confidence in me as a trainer and help build my relationship with our new rescue dog. She is easy to communicate with, very encouraging and works to understand your goals and set you up for success with your dog. Before working with Mandy we had been working with our dog on basic obedience but he was still very impulsive and could jump our fence to chase deer or small animals. He is now excelling at recall, impulse control, basic obedience and really enjoys engaging with us for training. He hasn’t jumped our fence and we can call him off chasing deer with a recall. Its been fun to see his progress and we are enjoying all the time spent with our dog! I highly recommend working with Mandy at Off Leash, she is patient, observant and encouraging.

We had a great experience working with Mandy as our dog trainer. She was incredibly communicative throughout the process, sending daily video updates so we could see how our dogs were progressing. With four dogs, each with their own unique personalities and challenges, we knew it wouldn’t be easy—but Mandy helped us reach a place where we now feel confident having them all out together at the same time.

I intentionally waited before writing this review to make sure the results would last and that the tools Mandy gave us would hold up long-term—and they absolutely have. That said, the training does require commitment at home. It’s an investment, and one that really pays off if you’re willing to keep reinforcing what your dog learns.

We’ve seen major improvements in behavior. Our dogs used to freeze in the middle of the street on the way to the groomer, but now they walk in calmly, without pulling, and they’re noticeably more relaxed around people in public. Even greetings at the door—always a chaotic moment—have become much more manageable, both for us and our guests.

Two of our dogs have had serious issues getting along, but with Mandy’s guidance and the introduction of tools like the “place” command, we’re now able to safely de-escalate situations before they get out of hand.

We’re very grateful for the progress and structure Mandy has helped bring into our lives. Highly recommend her if you’re ready to put in the work alongside your dogs.
