Really nice park!
I live only 5 minutes from here and this was the first time I tried these trails and I wish I did sooner. I started Countryside Barred Owl Trail from Algonkian Park which meets Countryside East River Trail (goes along the river), it made a nice loop trail for a little less than an hour hike. I only saw two people during my hike on a Friday afternoon. There are so many other options if I want a longer hike. My dog loved it too!
Love this place. Wife and I walk here with the pup all the time; it is very clean and love the environment. Benches all along the river facing towards the nature. Also a boat landing point and a crazy cool Osage orange tree. Fishing friendly as well
Awesome trails my dog loves it here. You can reach algonquian park off the trails for a double hike
No words to describe this place. Heaven on earth!
(Location of this marker needs moved on the map to a better spot because this trail is pretty long, but it crosses over the road so it makes it confusing)
