Best fireworks around!!! They also have some cool music beforehand! I come with my friends every fourth of July, always enjoy it, and always take a LOT of picturesandvideos!!
We are from out of town and heard we should come here for a picnic. We did just that. The grounds are beautiful. We saw people walking around the lake, people fishing, kids playing on the playground. It’s very well kept. There was plenty of parking. We plan to return as we only stayed on one side but want to see more next time we’re in town.
Nothing special. Just a big pond with some picnic areas and a splash pad. Very unfriendly town as well. If you aren’t from Sterling you aren’t crap as they say. Town really thinks they are better than most. Definitely don’t recommend stopping unless you have to and then leave as fast as possible.
Nice little lake with good amount of catfish. A buddy caught a 9 pounder. Tons of stuff for kids to do. There’s a nice pool with two diving boards, multiple playgrounds, volleyball, tennis courts, and a paved sidewalk going all around the lake.
