If you’re looking for a peaceful dog park in Sterling Heights, Ben Hadley Park offers clean grounds, pet-friendly trails, and a relaxed neighborhood vibe. This small park is known for its flat, paved walking paths—making it ideal for relaxing walks with your furry friend. The park is wheelchair accessible, ensuring that everyone can enjoy its amenities, and parking is convenient with around 10–15 spaces available.
The park also stands out for families with children, featuring a safe and accessible playground with swings, slides, and well-maintained equipment. Ben Hadley Park is a favorite among local dog owners who appreciate the mowed grassy areas and scattered shade along the trails, plus picnic tables and benches for resting during your visit. It’s not a traditional fenced dog park, but dogs are welcome on-leash across the grounds, and it’s a great spot for a tranquil stroll together.
It’s ok, quite and small park, not much to do.
Very nice and clean… Love taking my consumer there to walk around. Very peaceful.
Cute little play area for the kids. Would appreciate more seating in shaded areas but you can easily bring your own chair to sit under a tree. The equipment is in good shape.
Always nice. And the families that are there are usually really nice too. I have only had an issue once a couple years ago. But mostly, a really nice park with nice people and nice kids.
Great place to spend an hour or so walking the flat paved paths or using the play place with a ramp and an accessible swing. There is some shade along the paths but very little near the playscape. There are a few picnic tables and benches throughout the park with a plaques of pages of a storybook along the trail. It’s a small park with mowed grassy areas and 10 or 15 parking spaces. It also has easy access through the fence from the nearby neighborhood. A lot of people walk dogs here too. No restrooms I have seen.
