Very small dog park, no shade, tiny pond, 1/2mi hike to get too. Better off just going to somewhere along the Yampa River for easier access to water for swimming.

This hike was easy and short. My daughter and I wanted to see Steamboat Springs. So we found this short 1.2 mile hike. While sitting next to the Spring Creak pond we actually got to see an otter swimming and go into his wooded home.

This trail/park is perfect to take your pupper and let them run off some steam off leash! I saw everyone out there: walking, running and biking! The trail is 10 miles all together but there was never a part that I thought was “hard”, the elevation changes are very gradual and easy. The trail follows the river for almost all the trail which is nice as well:)

Enjoy!
