The Arizona Cactus Garden at Stanford is such a hidden gem for family photos & engagements! Tucked away on campus, it feels extremely peaceful, and is always full of unique desert plants, winding paths; golden hour is phenomenal! As a photographer, I love how the natural textures and warm tones create a soft, earthy backdrop that flatters every skin tone. It’s especially great for engagements for those that are looking for a more desert-esque background in the Bay Area, since those can be hard to find here! The Garden is also extremely accessible for anyone with mobility issues; directly from the parking lot, there is a paved pathway leading straight to the garden (you can’t miss it). Highly recommend this Garden for anyone hoping for a different vibe!

Soooooo cool to see all of the cacti and succulents that are so varied and well taken care of. Wow. If you take the time to consider the growth and flowering of each plant, you will be entranced and marveled! Wow. Highly recommended. Visited TWICE on my one-day trip to Palo Alto!!!
