Love the trails and we haved stayed in the cabins several times over the past decade. It’s so peaceful and beautiful along the stream and the temps are cool even in summer. Probably my favorite state park!
Loved our visit, great cabin, if you like waterfalls you will love it.
Beautiful park, reminds me of Tennessee. Lynn run is so pretty. I love all the rapids and little waterfalls. Adam falls and the rod and gun club ruins are less than half a mile to get to. The rocks and roots are trippy. There’s signs warning of rattlesnakes. The bathrooms need a major overhaul.
A huge park full of old trees, hiking trails and beautiful streams! We stopped here for a quick 3-mile hike while travelling through the area. Very cool place to stop for a picnic, for a hike, or to spend an entire day.
Really pretty park. We didn’t get to do many trails due to time limitations. Overall they ones we did had bathroom facilities and were well marked. This may be more difficult if you went in the summer as there is a lot of growth. Scenes are beautiful and worth taking your time. We visited in the spring and took our dog and toddler. Ticks were already active so ensure to spray up and do tick checks. Looking forward to going back to explore more trails.
