The 400 acres of peaceful walks and exploration holds one of the largest maple swamps on the Gulf Coast, perfect for wildlife photos! There is also a natural hiking trail. Many areas wheelchair accessible. There’s plenty of parking. Fishing is NOT ALLOWED. The observation tower offers a fantastic view of Pinellas county.

This is REALLY a great park and wildlife preservation with lots of information on the nearby animals in the area, indigenous animals of Florida! The boardwalks that are here provide ample spaces for walks into the park over the lakes and streams that are here, also we were able to see live alligators in there natural habitat only several feet from us. It’s a great place for family outings or just to take a walk alone or for healthy afternoon exercise. There are plenty of benches set up around the park and trail to provide rest and relaxation if you just want to sit and take in nature that’s all around you!

Beautiful housing area before getting to the park. Love the wooden nature trails that are shielded by the trees. We got to see a baby alligator among other things. The wind was blowing. I loved getting my steps in while being outside enjoying nature. The bathrooms and trails are well kept.
