If I could give 0 stars, I would… I’ve taken my dog here for years whenever I needed to board him. When they first opened the downtown location, I always had a great experience and my dog seemed happy and healthy when I picked him up. I don’t travel as much as I used to, so I’ve only taken him here twice in the last few years. I took him 3 years or so ago and had a pretty off experience… the facility and staff seemed very different – the facility seemed dirty and unkept and the staff seemed less attentive and professional. I hesitantly took my dog back last week to board him. Let me be super clear and direct when I say this… I will NEVER be taking my dog back here ever again. I received pictures from an unknown number while I was away, just two pictures of my dog and a short text without a name or signature letting me know it was the facility. I have thousands of pictures of my dog and I don’t have a single one where my dog looks terrified. One picture looked like he was screaming and the other one looked like he was crying. I was so anxious to get back home to him and it was so heavy on my mind for the second half of my trip. My dog had diarrhea for 3 days after I picked him up which is very unusual for him. He’s also stayed extremely close to me, following me around the house like he is traumatized. He was super lethargic and thirsty when we got home – his pee was bright yellow like he hadn’t had water in days. He’s had difficulty walking as well, which he’s never had before. I’m taking him to the vet tomorrow to have a full check up to make sure he isn’t injured. I don’t know what they did to him, but my dog seems filled with fear and anxiety and I am filled with guilt for leaving him there. I mentioned my concern with the pictures when I picked him up and they said nothing, just charged me and sent me the invoice. I have this horrible feeling that he was abused, or at the very least neglected. I wish there was something more that could be done than a google review.
My dog loves his place! We had gotten referred here a few times after taking our dog to Mutts and Martini. I called in and they mentioned he would need to take a temperament test which took less than 10 minutes. I appreciate that they make you go through this and fill out paperwork for rabies Prior to coming in. My dog was tired when we got him afterward, and the price for a day is quite reasonable. I also appreciate the rear really flexible you want to bring the dogs in and you don’t have to have a set schedule. It helps immensely for, my schedule. I can’t wait to bring him back to play with all of his new friends!EDIT: I didn’t realize that they don’t feed your dog throughout the day and after their year old, it is five dollars for them to give your dog food. I wish I would’ve known that from the beginning.

Love My Pet Resort is the only place I have left my Siberian Husky, Lexi, and actually felt good about the experience I know she is having while there. She is always anxious to get inside when dropping her off. Upon picking her up, she is just as happy to share what a wonderful and exciting day she had while there!
This is a great place to bring your dog for the day!! The staff was very helpful and they love dogs so much. They were quick to respond about getting my pup’s vaccination records approved, so I brought her in for the temperament test. They approved her immediately and actually let her have her first day of daycare that same day! I’m so happy to find a place that will take her and my dog had a great day. For new dogs, they place a blue collar on them so the staff knows which dogs are new to the group. I thought that was awesome and a sweet thing to know when I dropped her off for the day.This is an excellent place to bring your puppy or dog and I highly recommend to puppy parents who need a break!! NULL for the full day (4 or more hours). Worth it 😂
