This St. Paul dog park boasts wheelchair accessible parking and entrances, seating throughout, and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The grounds have mature trees providing pockets of shade, and there’s plenty of space to throw a ball. Parking is available, though the lot is unpaved and can be uneven, so approach carefully. While the park doesn’t offer paved paths, water stations, or amenities like agility equipment, its ease of access and separate small/large dog areas make it a favorite for city dog owners seeking a hassle-free outing.
Great park. The big dog side is huge! The small dog side is big! The city does a decent job of keeping it up. It can be fun when it’s overgrown. And it is periodically cut back. The people and pets are mostly well behaved.
I’m new to the area and I absolutely love this park! Its’s near the river which is 🌹 There are two fenced in areas, one for larger dogs and one for smaller dogs each one has plenty of room and shade! Everybody I’ve met is friendly and just enjoying the great space! Google maps will send you down Shepherd road but try to turn off on Randolph instead, you’ll get closer to the parking area.
Such a nice big park, fully enclosed and lots of chairs if you want to sit and relax while your pet plays.
Great space, generally a pretty chill group of dogs that know how to be around other dogs, pretty and full of green in the summer, room to run around and throw a ball
Love this dog park. It isn’t one of the huge ones with paths but it’s right in the city, and plenty big enough for your dogs to really get running. It definitely gets busy in the early evening so plenty of dogs to play with. Fully fenced so no worries there. It does get dusty when it’s windy and there isn’t a lot of shade but that isn’t a deterrent to me. The parking lot is dirt and generally fairly pitted so drive slowly and carefully.
