FAQ for Kaulmont Park in St Marys Pennsylvania:
Has potential but the city does nothing with it. There used to have basketball courts but they let it get run down and tore it out for a skate park that also got run down and tore out
We had a soccer game in the U10 soccer fields. The fields were nice, flat, no holes and my team had a blast. Great place!
Great park for taking your Dog’s, there is a big field for them to run around. Lots of big trees for shade and a walking path that goes around a pond. The pond is drained in the summer and is used for Ice Skating/Hockey in the winter. It’s a nice big ice skating pond with big lights around and a heated building for changing skates/ getting warm. Plus a big Fire Ring for a Bonfire to warm up by.All the kid stuff is kinda new, a nice tire swing, small climbing wall for kids good slides and swings for kids of any age.
Nice sized park. Great place for children to have fun. There’s a small pond in the middle with a walking trail encircling it. Most of the park’s playground structures were installed pretty recently. Just a few years ago if I’m not mistaken (time of writing 12-30-2020).
A great place for kids to play or for plus sized people to sit in the car playing Pokemon go. There is some sort objective for that game here. That is why there are always lonely looking adults lurking. I think they scare off the families though. There is never anyone there that isn’t a large adult playing Pokemon go in their car. It’s really sketchy until someone explains about the game. It’s a location based game, so you can’t just sit in your living room in a wife beater covered in cheeto dust. You have to go to the objectives. The worst part is you have to get out of your car and walk for some of them, but some of these people just drive on the foot path, because walking a few steps is too much to ask. My question is, why do physically able adults choose to play a location based game if they don’t want to move. There are so many games that cater to laying on your couch covered in Cheeto dust.
