I enjoy taking my dog here for a walk, particularly when the regular parks in town are busy with sport events. We almost always have the place to ourselves and I really like that. It’s a pretty little loop around and a cute little dock to look at the marsh. I do wish they would do some maintenance on the signs throughout the center and also some maintenance is needed on the dock. But like I said it doesn’t seem to be used often, so maybe they can’t justify the cost. There are several picnic tables under a pavilion so you can definitely have a nice picnic there. There is a porta potty if needed. I love this place and grateful for it because it’s nice and close to home for us.
