🐾 How to Handle Aggressive Dogs at the Dog Park – Real Advice from Dog Owners
Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
Located in Ferguson, St. Louis, Missouri, Wayside Park Unleashed Dog Park is a members-only destination designed for dog owners seeking a clean, safe, and dog-friendly space. This fenced dog park is perfect for off-leash play and socialization, allowing both small and large dogs to run freely in separate, secure areas. The park is known for its friendly community, affordable annual membership, and its reputation as a “hidden gem” among local pet owners.
While the park is smaller than some, visitors love its cleanliness, tall and secure fencing, and the peace of mind that comes from a membership-only access system. Note that there is no public water source on site, so guests are advised to bring their own water for their pets. Despite its quieter atmosphere, the park offers plenty of space for energetic dogs and is especially well-suited for those looking for a tranquil St. Louis dog park experience.
Hidden gem! Glad Ferguson has this available. To all the people who gave it low ratings, you have to get a pass from Ferguson parks department for NULL and they give you the gate code (pretty easy and worth the NULL YEARLY). Seperate areas for small and big dogs, clean, and spacious. My dog LOVES it.
“Members only” at a dog park 🤣🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
I’d pick up when my dogs goes #2, but we couldn’t get in, so we enjoyed 😉 the outside of your tiny, fenced-in, and LOCKED park. Now, it’s your time to enjoy our “contribution” to your neighborhood 😀
Nice dog park that is fenced I , and only access to paying members, all for a very, very small fee. Would give 5 stars if they had a water source available. Has separate fenced in areas for small and large dogs
Locked! Not sure how to let the roaming public just travelling through know not to stop but Google should update the description.
Park people should think about how much revenue you might be possible if you had another method of collecting fees. Smallish but nice looking park and my dog would have enjoyed if we could get in. We went to another park outside of St Louis and enjoyed it immensely.
A little hidden gem for my huskies & only NULL a year, per dog! The fence is tall enough that we can catch them before they attempt to jump lol. Like mentioned in other reviews there is no water source so make sure to bring your own water. Great hours! We go twice a day & we’re typically the only ones there.
