Tails & Trails Dog Park, located within Queeny Park, is one of the best dog parks in St. Louis, Missouri for those seeking wide open spaces and pet-friendly trails. This well-maintained, membership-based dog park offers separate areas for small and large dogs, ensuring a safe and fun experience for pets of all sizes. The park features several acres of fenced, off-leash play with plenty of room for dogs to run, play, and socialize.

Shaded areas and beautiful walking trails connect to the dog park, making it a perfect spot for dog-friendly hiking before or after play time. Accessibility is a highlight, with wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking. Wow never have I seen a dog park where you had to be a “member” to enter. Just detoured my road trip for nothing. Absolutely absurd yuppie dog park ooookaaaayyyy bye. Enjoy being fancy rich and LONELY 🤣 void of the OPPORTUNITY to meet my amazing dog. Y’all missed out 🤷🏽♀️
Though I didn’t come with a dog, the dog park was lively and seemed to be good quality. There’s a cute pond right up the hill behind the dog park, along with a stream right behind the dog park. It’s perfect for a low effort date!
We absolutely love Queeny Park’s Dog Park! This is a large dog park with sides for both small and large dogs. The large dog side is quite large, I’d say maybe 2 or 3 acres in size, so there’s plenty of room to run. This dog park does require annual memberships, but they also offer Day passes (the day passes can only be obtained at the Greensfelder Complex, which is only open normal weekday hours, FYI!! You can’t get a day pass on the weekend). Vaccinations documentation for your dog is required for either a day pass or a membership, and the park is maintained and very clean. Dog parents have always been extremely fast to break up any dust-ups between dogs, although every once in awhile you come across an oblivious owner who knows nothing. We’ve been coming to this dog park about 2 years now and we’ll continue to go back! Hot tip: there are beautiful trails to walk before or after playtime also.
Snuck into the park with my dog because I needed someplace to let my dog run and kill some time, while traveling. The park was clean and the other dogs were very well mannered and friendly. No dog fights broke out. People came and went. There is a large open area for them to run, play, and explore. There are a few
training obstacles. Although, I abore dog parks that require membership (makes it difficult for people like me who travel with a dog a lot) I understand the motivations behind the restrictions. If you live nearby get a membership and take your well trained dog to this park.
