We were there for Pyrojam 2025. The park did a Great job putting that on. With over 10000 people there and food trucks, play area for the kids. It was a great evening. The park itself is a nice place to bring kids to walk around and play in the river in the summer or check out the Indian teepees and historic buildings. Very nice place.
Such a Magical place to bike ride, walk, run, and swim. Does not get any better than this wonderful piece of land to visit for free any time 😀
Beautiful views and so peaceful there.
Truly a hidden gem only a 1.5 hour drive away from the DC area! I enjoyed taking a walk through the Indian Village and the boardwalk. It was very quiet, peaceful, pleasant, and not too crowded at all. I definitely felt like I reconnected with nature here. The boardwalk is very beautiful and I suggest you go there when you’re in the park. Highly recommend this unique park if you’re around the DC area!
Very nice park, but we went for pints and pups and the event was very disappointing. 2 breweries, 1 food truck and very few other vendors. There was only 1 dog there that was adoptable. The tickets were not expensive but the event was way over sold.
