I love this park!!. Great walking? Yep. Play ground? Yep. Ball field? BBall courts? Tennis anyone? Yep. Yep. Yep. VBall? Yep. Outdoor performance stage? An amazing one! Bathrooms, water park, squirrels. Etc. Etc. Just a perfect park.
Stopped to stretch ours and the dogs legs on our way through town. The park is beautiful and offers many attractions. Everything looks very well maintained and the bathrooms were impeccable! You and your family could very well spend the entire day here doing different activities and not have one “bored” child. There are plenty of garbage bins, water fountains and doggy bags dispensers and well designed signage for navigating your way a round the different areas. Hands down this is probably one of the best city parks I’ve been in.
This is a nine hole course that takes advantage of the small part but have some longer holes. Very well taken care of very tight alleyways. But overall I would give it a four and a half Stars cuz it rocked and it was fun. They even have girls that bring your disc back for you. LOL just kidding but some chick decided to bring my disc back when I threw it like 400 ft it’s pretty bad but still got a birdie. Update Played saint John park with my girlfriend and it was a beautiful day Wendy as hell but it was worth it. this park is always interesting and fun to play PERIOD
Edit 2023: Parks are still beautiful and well maintained. We love the huge wood play structure southwest of the splash pad. There are tons of covered picnic tables and a disc golf course we have yet to explore.
2021: Great little splash pad for kids. My 2.5 year old enjoyed it when it was just us, but it got a little intimidating when older kids arrived. The 8 year old enjoys all of it and often asks to come here on hot days. Always well maintained and clean. Restrooms and plenty of shaded tables available.
We also watched fireworks from this park on the 4th of July, and it was prime seating for a great show.
This place is amazing! It’s a large park with lots of options for everyone. There’s a spray park at one end with musical instruments for kids and lots of tables. There are multiple recreational options including tennis courts, volleyball, basketball and disc golf. There’s a large wooden playground for kids. There are also multiple pavilions and tables scattered around. There’s also a band shell. Great gathering place overall.
