Last summer my friends were seasonal site holders and the people running the camp made some new issue every weekend. They started with trying to require them to limit visitors to one car at any given time of the day often patrolling while my kids and I visited just to watchi us. 4 kids throwing a foot all around and 4 adults at the campfire should not have alerted the watch committee. They even claimed they cut down a tree at the site which is absolutely untrue. After spending the summer mowing the site, having the kids pick up trash for Earth day and trying to build memories, the camp owners still harassed them and us at every turn. The sites are plain and the play area minimal for children. The bath house is quite removed from the back sites without easy access to water. Would not recommend.
Was an awful experience, a pre-arrival email was never sent with the code to the showers in it. I called three separate numbers (that was listed online and on the restroom building) to try and get ahold of someone and no one answered or called me back. We ended up leaving due to this and three other campers had the same issue as well and left for the same reason. Waste of time and money. Plenty of other spots around there to camp who would answer your call. Don’t waste your time or money to stay here.
A decent rustic campground unfortunately ruined by its customers. If you’re looking for peace and quiet here don’t look for it here. Regardless of the time of year you camp here expect to have the obnoxious side by side crowd carrying on inside and outside of the campground late hours of the night, blaring music and lights throughout the rustic loops. This is a recurring theme so we decided this isn’t the campground for us. And yes I understand it’s an orv campground (I myself partake) but being considerate of others during quiet hours is common courtesy.
Stayed at the campground 4 nights, every night the seasonal site next door started loud music right after 11PM, like the quiet time rules don’t apply to them. Something to take into consideration if you’re tired, have small children, no super insulated camper to drown out the horrendous songs chosen etc etc etc.
Great park with water running through it that kids love swimming in during the warm summer months. There’s a built wood play area specifically for children to have fun playing. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, and a ball field nearby. There are benches to sit on, bridges to walk over, and even a giant sandbox. A beautiful place to spend the day and great for photos. Dogs must be on leash.
