ST FRANCIS DOG PARK – A Local Spot for Dogs in St Francis, Minnesota

ST FRANCIS DOG PARK is a simple yet convenient destination for dog owners in St Francis, Minnesota, looking for a place to let their dogs run and play. This fenced-in area features grassy space, a few benches, and some trees, making it a welcoming spot for both pets and their owners to unwind. While it’s not overflowing with amenities, this dog park is a great option for socializing dogs and getting some outdoor exercise within city limits.

The park is essentially a large, enclosed square, offering safety for off-leash play. Owners should note that while there’s usually a water feature, water may not always be available (especially in early spring), so it’s a good idea to bring your own. There is minimal agility equipment—just a small tunnel for dogs to explore—but the park’s natural setup still encourages plenty of play and sniffing around. Benches under trees provide occasional shade for owners, and the friendly, dog-loving community enhances the atmosphere.

It is a really nice park. Trees, grass, and benches. Lots of the dogs are so nice and sweet. Although, some people bring some unfriendly dogs. Always check how the dogs act! Not sure why people bring unfriendly dogs, it’s just wrong.

This dog park is decent in size. It’s just a giant fenced in square. Not many trees or activities (planks to walk ect.) Just one very small tunnel to go through. It’s absolutely way better than nothing that’s for sure. Took my dog there today and it’s fun to see her play with dog friends. Water was not on yet so bring your own for now (April 6th).
