The dog park has areas that are munched and connected to a grassy area. While clean up bags were supplied, no water supply is provided. Fortunately, we had bottled water and bowls.

I really wanted to like this dog park, but it’s just missing a lot of things, that I feel, should be there. It’s a beautifully clean dog park near a kids playground with some walking paths.
PROS :
– manageable size main dog area… large enough to let your dog run around, small enough to be able to get your dog when you’re ready to go.
– 3 separate areas. It’s one big rectangle, 2/3rds of it’s a grassy area, the other 1/3rd is divided into 2 areas all covered in wood chips… roughly 25% and 75% with the main entrance double gated airlock entry.
– dog waste garbage bin at entrance with provided poop bags.
– there was one tree outside the fence that provided some shade in the corner of the grassy part around mid day.
– there were two picnic tables in the grassy area.
– appears clean and well maintained.
CONS :
– no water fountain source and no water bowls were provided
– no bathrooms that I could see
– very limited shade. 2 young trees were planted in the grass area, but the one tree that provides shade is only about 2 picnic tables worth of shade at midday.
– only ~10 parking spaces by the one airlock entrance. There is another parking lot on the opposite end of the dog park with a double gate leading to the grass area, but I would hope nobody would bring their dog in at that gate when there are dogs in that area, since there is no 2-gated airlock system there.
– They should have another garbage can for poop at the gate leading to the grassy area. You need to go through 3 gates to throw away your dog poop from the grassy area.
– 3′-4′ fences… my husky could probably leap over it if he really wanted to.
3 separate, fully fenced areas. 2 mulched areas and 1 grass. Well maintained and clean. Good size park for small and medium sized dog breeds.
There are 3 separate areas for the dogs at this location. I have tried going late afternoon and haven’t had much luck with dogs being there… I usually try to go Wednesday and thursday evenings in hope my pitbull will have other dogs to play with. Recently I found that there is a good group of medium to big dogs that go everyday around 7 am.
There are two main large play areas, one with wood chips and one with grass. There is also a small dogs area. Not as many dog friends as we would have liked, but this is a well taken care of park!
