I live in the area and wanted to take my granddaughter to play. Can you imagine my 3 year old baby so excited to play but couldn’t be it was locked. She was soooooo upset.
They have a large dog walk area, to play and run your dogs. There’s even a smaller section that if your dog isn’t dog friendly they can still play.
Small section for children to play as well. Park also has large field that they play soccer or la cross.
Grounds are well kept weekly
Absolutely ridiculous that the park is locked and not accessible to the general public. I wanted to take my 16 month old toddler to play while we waited for Costco to open. Palencia Park isn’t locked. That’s a beautiful park for all to enjoy. It’s stunningly ridiculous to have a park on lock down. Shame.
Wish I would have checked the reviews to see this park is private.. we are long time residents of St. Augustine and drove her to try out something new.. screw the world golf transplant snobs that feel they should have a locked gate on a kids playground
