The Neighborhood Park at World Golf Village

The Neighborhood Park at World Golf Village is a well-maintained park featuring a large dog walking area with a separate smaller section for less dog-friendly pets, making it suitable for dogs of different temperaments. It also has a small children’s playground and large fields for activities like soccer or lacrosse. The park is wheelchair accessible with accessible parking and entrances, and provides amenities such as picnic tables and swings. However, the park is gated and not accessible to the general public, which has received some negative feedback from locals and visitors.

I live in the area and wanted to take my granddaughter to play. Can you imagine my 3 year old baby so excited to play but couldn’t be it was locked. She was soooooo upset.
They have a large dog walk area, to play and run your dogs. There’s even a smaller section that if your dog isn’t dog friendly they can still play.
Small section for children to play as well. Park also has large field that they play soccer or la cross.
Grounds are well kept weekly
Absolutely ridiculous that the park is locked and not accessible to the general public. I wanted to take my 16 month old toddler to play while we waited for Costco to open. Palencia Park isn’t locked. That’s a beautiful park for all to enjoy. It’s stunningly ridiculous to have a park on lock down. Shame.
Wish I would have checked the reviews to see this park is private.. we are long time residents of St. Augustine and drove her to try out something new.. screw the world golf transplant snobs that feel they should have a locked gate on a kids playground
Stopped by here on a long bike ride to refill water and use the bathroom, only to find out it’s gated. Waste of a park area if the general public can’t use it. Only 1 person was here on a Saturday morning. You’d think it would be busier…
