Terrible dog park. It’s a fenced in mud pit and sand spurs hell. It’s not kept up well, but the sports fields seem nice.

Very quiet with lots of parking areas early in the morning. This has a very “out in the country” feel to me. You won’t find the big playgrounds or high tech sports equipment/fields but it’s a great place to slow down and relax.

Dog park review: Decent size fully fenced grassy area with water bowls and kiddie pools for hot days. Separate fully fenced area for small dogs. A covered shelter and picnic table are available for the humans. Closes at dusk. Access is behind the soccer/football fields.

Park mainly for softball, soccer, and football. A few open picnic tables, only one covered, which is far from the restroom. People here in the morning grooming the fields. So, it is active. Large Sheriff presence probably because one sign says “Sheriff’s Athletic League.” some people bring their dogs, but there are “NO Animals Allowed” signs on the fields.

It is a large, clean, well-maintained park with a few large fields to play soccer or baseball, as well as a covered gazebo, barbecue grills, a dock that stretches over the marsh, and a dog park. I could see parking becoming an issue if there were a football game or something going on; there are not a lot of parking spots. As for the dog park, it is fully fenced, with one side meant for large dogs and one side for smaller dogs. The fence itself is not tall enough to keep a large dog from jumping over it, and the grounds are covered in feces. The grass is turning into mud and dirt, but it does not surprise me when Teslas are parking on the grass instead of in the designated parking spots.
