This campground is a clean, well-thought out campground to stay and play. Great option for groups to stay together if planned in advance and close to the dunes. Bathrooms are frequently maintained, there is an RV clean out on site and several options for water filling.
We were hoping to go camping there with tents but when we got there we couldn’t figure out where you would put your tent. There is a LARGE area for RV parking in front of each site and it has a covered table area. Between each covered table area is about 5 feet of sagebrush space before the next site. So, you could put a tent between that space if you have a smallish one or on the hard gravel of the parking area. I think for someone who has an RV or trailer and wants to go on their motor toys on the dunes this is a great camping spot. For those who want to tent camp and enjoy the outdoors with their kids in a campsite … Not a great place for that.

Well maintained campground with easy access to the greatest dune riding in North America. Reserve a camp spot ahead of time as it can be busy on the weekends.
