If you’re searching for a dog park in Springtown, Texas, Springtown Park is a fantastic choice the whole family can enjoy. The park offers scenic, pet-friendly trails, plenty of shade, and spots for dogs to cool off along Hickory Creek. Dog owners will appreciate the peaceful walking paths, open areas for fetch, and easy access to creekside fun for their pups.
A standout feature is the abundance of shade along the pretty trails, making Springtown Park ideal for walking dogs even in warmer months. The park provides waste stations (although sometimes they may need restocking), benches, picnic tables, and covered pavilions, making it comfortable for pet owners to relax. In addition to canine fun, visitors will find playgrounds, a skate area, volleyball courts, bridges over the creek, and ample parking—making it a versatile spot for your next pet-friendly outing in Springtown.
Is such a nice place to spend an afternoon. Shady and peaceful. There is a large play area with shredded rubber padding. It’s much larger then you expect.
Family fun experience. Appropriate for all ages and dogs. Pick up stations for your doggie messes which is a huge plus. Small skate area with skateboard ramps. Volleyball area. Overall an awesome family time.
The walking trail is beautiful, but the bathrooms are absolutely awful poop and every single toilet no toilet paper in sight. The sinks are caked in mud no Paper towel And the floor was pretty gross too
Great little walking trail, and my little especially loves the tractor that is at the end of the trail, out front of the feed store. Tractor is FOR THE KIDS! Welded in place, and made safe for kids. The playground is ok…but my little has gotten spoiled on some of the amazing playground we have around DFW-he’s something of a playground connoisseur 🤣 again he LOVES that tractor.
Pretty little trail with quite a bit of shade! Plus Hickory Creek Runs through the park and there are several areas you can get near the creek. My little pups loved a spot to cool off
