My lady told me this is an excellent park, a secret treasure that very few people know about or visit, so I went on Mother’s Day with my children and grandchildren and it was, as advertised, absolutely beautiful and excellent!

One of the most beautiful parks in the area. Magnolias take the center stage, but coast redwoods, firs, cypress, oak, and hemlock round it out. It rivals the better-known Hendricks Park rhododendron grove in Eugene for beauty when in bloom.
Plenty of benches and picnic tables spaced around the main walk loop. Lots of open space for kids to play (no playground, though.)
The park was severely damaged during Icemageddon 2024, but looks set to recover nicely.
