Pride Park is a welcoming neighborhood park located at 277 S 34th St in Springfield, Oregon. Known for its mostly fenced-in, large grass areas, and scenic views, it’s a great spot for both dogs and their owners to unwind. Shady trees provide relief on hot days, while picnic tables and benches offer spots to enjoy a snack or watch your pups and kids play. Although it’s not a dedicated dog park, many visitors enjoy the pet-friendly atmosphere and open spaces, which are perfect for dogs who love to run around (on-leash as required by city ordinances).
Families visiting the park appreciate the playgrounds suitable for various ages, basketball courts, paved walking paths, a sandpit, and plenty of room for group games or a quiet picnic. Do note that the park could use some more regular maintenance and does not have public restrooms on site, but it is loved for its local convenience and the spectacular sunsets. With dog waste bins provided, it’s a community-oriented place to spend time with your furry friend and explore the pet-friendly trails of Springfield, OR.
Fairly good play structure and massive open area for the kids to run, basketball court with adjustable height hoops and lots of shady places to get out of the sun.

The park is overall just a basic neighborhood park, which is great if it was better maintained.
The positives –
Fences in area, large grass area with lots of places to run around, picnic benches for lunch, and trees for shade on the hot days.
The cons –
In general not very clean. All the play equipment is quite run down, trash is in the grass and on the playground, things in general could just use some clean up, whether it’s from the city or if the people in the neighborhood got together and cleaned it up. If this was our local park we would for sure have a once a week clean up.
Most likely won’t go back to that one.

Standard neighborhood Park. Good-sized field with some playground equipment for small kids. Has a pokestop and a Pokey gym.

It has a great field of grass and you can play hide and seek with your children. The downside is the playground is old and somewhat sun worn so it is not a great experience with the playground…

Needs updates. Not safe for 2 year olds. Broken glass in the bark. It is almost completely fenced. So that’s good.
