Spring Valley Dog Park – A Local Favorite in Spring Valley, Illinois

Located in the heart of Spring Valley, Illinois, Spring Valley Dog Park offers a convenient, fenced-in space for dogs to play off-leash and socialize. This pocket-sized park is especially appealing for owners of small dogs or pups who prefer quieter, less crowded environments—many visitors note that it’s rarely busy and often their furry friends have the whole place to themselves.

While the park covers the essentials with waste stations, trash bins, and available water, its compact size may not be ideal for larger, high-energy dogs that need ample room for running or retrieving. Love that it’s never crowded. Most times I bring my pup we are the only ones there. My dog lacks confidence around men so it’s nice that the park is never too busy. Clean and well kept. My favorite soot to bring my pup 🙂

this dog park has water and garbage and waste bags. Unfortunately, despite having the basics in place, this dog park is very small. There are no trees inside of the fenced in area, and the dog park is barely large enough for throwing a ball from end to end may be a nice place for small dogs, but is not really large enough for any dog over 20 pounds.
