Hammond’s Grove is a cherished spot in Spring Run, Pennsylvania, ideal for dog owners seeking a pet-friendly area with a local, old-time feel. The grounds offer plenty of shade from established trees and are known for frequent community gatherings, including fairs, flea markets, and special outdoor events. Visitors will find ample benches built around trees—perfect for relaxing and socializing while your dog enjoys the sights and sounds.
This location is wheelchair accessible, with both the entrance and parking lot accommodating visitors with mobility needs. Restrooms are available, including flushing toilets and hot water for hand washing, though they may be supplemented by port-a-potties during larger events. If you’re looking for picnic-friendly amenities, this park offers a classic, rustic setting that’s great for family outings and reconnecting with the local community.
We were there for a gun raffle, i didn’t win anything but had a nice time. Good food.
Great view! The picnic was a big part of my childhood, and it was great to take my kids there too.
Great stage for playing music..bathrooms are old outdated horrible conditions and food is ok if you’re starving
Have been here for several events: Gun Bash fundraisers, fairs, & annual Memorial Day flea market (as a vender). Has flushing toilets & hot water for hand washing. A small concrete stage, a long cooking pit, and permanent concession building for special events. Lots of shade trees & benches built around trees, but no playground.
Need a bigger bathroom to accommodate the bigger events. Bigger events do rent Port a Potties.
Nice old time feel. Not 5 stars because it is pokemon free. Wasn’t allowed to bring my pet pokemon. So had to bring my dog. Poor dog.
