The park is beautiful. I was really looking for an enclosed, gated dog park, but there isn’t one. I ended up finding the beachy area where I could walk my dogs, and they loved it.

Very beautiful view. Beware your dog might jump in the water. Was not expecting our dogs to do this! I do wish they had better grass its very rough and thorny in some areas. There is a water fountain for your dogs and divided sides for small and big dogs.

The bad news is the long walk from the parking lot. The good news is that there is lots of room for dogs to run play. If your dog likes to swim this is a great spot for that. No separate area for small or large dogs. Keep in mind that the public restrooms are near the parking lot and it’s a long walk back. I don’t expect to frequent this park because of the long walk. Otherwise I do recommend it for aquatic dogs.

If you see a bald guy with his shirt off and these 2 dogs, stay clear. The darker colored dog is clearly untrained and aggressive. The guy barely could even control his dogs walking into the park, and the minute mine came into the water the darker dog attacked and nearly drowned mine. And instead of grabbing his he let it run around telling me “he won’t attack”.

Don’t be that person if your dog gets aggressive in the park.
