Catalpa Oaks County Park
Catalpa Oaks County Park is a well-maintained, family-friendly park that offers ample space for outdoor activities including baseball and soccer. Very clean and wide lots of space to do outside activities playground is not the biggest bit decent
I went here because Google maps said there’s a trail. It’s less of a trail and more of an open cycle path that just does a wide circle around the park. Very clean though. The bathrooms are closed for the winter but there’s still a porta potty. Nice playground for big kids and a separate one for little kids.
Since 2012 they have done everything possible to ruin this park. The only improvement has been bathrooms and drinking fountains.
At this point, they might has well clear the property and build a Walmart since we don’t have one around. Lot of good memories of Catalpa Oaks when it actually had nature. I don’t recognize whatever this is.
Well-maintained park! Love coming here at sunrise peaceful and silent. Multiple soccer fields that are nice and leveled. Updated jungle gym lots to do, highly recommended for kids at any age. Including a baseball diamond. Another amazing southfield park.
Nice clean area. The park is both toddler and big kid friendly! There is a seating area under a pavilion with 3 long tables separating the toddler and bigger kid sides. They also have a trail for walking or bike riding as well as a 2 huge fields for soccer or other sports. Lastly, the bathrooms are really well kept. Overall, it is a great family space!
