Waterlands Park

Waterlands Park in South Orange Village offers a wheelchair accessible entrance and parking, making it convenient for visitors with disabilities. It features amenities like a playground, baseball field, and swings, suitable for children and families. The park is part of a rainwater management system, so it can be soggy after rain. There is onsite parking, but the location is somewhat remote and can be dark late at night. The park is popular with dog walkers and offers a natural setting with art sculptures. However, some areas may occasionally have litter and the playground equipment is modest.

Decent but nothing special. Fields can be messy and with litter(yes even beer bottles)which doesn’t surprise. Portapotties are needed more around as the 2 by side field aren’t cutting it(also filthy). Luckily the woods provide great alternative as enough privacy
Nice lot plenty places to park. However plan to spend some time walking back to the South Orange train station. Not the place to park if you work or intend to come back to your car when its extremely late and its dark as it is in a rather remote location.
A great part of the town, with well-maintained fields. It is important to remember this park is actually a part of a rainwater management system and is purposely put there to flood so other places don’t. It can be very soggy after a rain. The playground equipment is nothing fantastic, and a little worn, but fine.
Pleasant park to enjoy nature, also has a nice group of area schulptures. The new age art is a nice intro to a fun walk. Many dog walkers. Nice people! We
Probably should not say this… No people at all. A few people working out but don’t stay beyond their run or stretch. The playground is still closed. The loop around the fields is great for bikes and scooters.
