My fiance and I were at a nearby restaurant and when we came out we heard a full on jazz concert happening in the park. 💙💙💙💙
Relaxing.
This is a cute, although fairly small, park in the middle of downtown South Orange. There are a few benches and a couple of tables. It is not a playground, but they do have three little play things for children there, one being a musical toy something akin to a xylophone. It is also a local hot spot for those looking to enjoy a bit of the outdoors while taking their lunch break from work. My own personal favorite part is the fountain feature and the trees that provide a bit of much needed shade on the hot days. The town often holds events there such as music in the park during the summertime, amongst many others.
Twice this weekend I walked by Spiotta Park, both times the weather was perfect and there was live music – Latin on Friday and Jazz on Sunday. Great spot
Great music festival location and a beautiful sitting during the daytime for lunch or taking a break.
