I am there at the most twice a day Mon – Fri. It is clean, spacious, & serene
This is the original burying ground for the town. In the 1970’s the headstones were removed and the names inscribed on the column in the center of the, now park. There is now a playground, swings and a shuffle board area in back.
Beautiful. Also, nice swing set.
I work in S. Orange as a Teacher and we take our kids there, weather permitting. Very nice park for them to play in. Plenty of space for them to run and burn energy. Dogs are not allowed, so we hardly have to worry about poop. Though, at times, people seem to not be able to read the signs. Has a playground, swings, and picnic area. The passing trains are an added attraction, as well.
I mean… it’s a playground. A bit oddly laid out, with the swings at a separate part. The playground itself is very dirty because it’s in a shaded area— it’s nice having the shade but everything is caked in a layer of dirt. It’s a pretty outdated playground and it is fairly close to a busy street, with basically nothing keeping kids in except for, maybe, common sense.
I’d go here if only it was very convenient or on the way to something else. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.
