We were amazed that the falls were so frozen. Have lived here for 25 years and this was the first time we have seen them like this.
You could still see some of the water cascading down under the ice.

Nice little park. Not very big but great place for striper fishing in the summer. Usually crowded when the bite is on but you can typically find a place to fish. There is also a small boat ramp for launching kayaks. The ramp is really steep.

Good put-in And Take-out
It’s tidak water so be sure to check tides as water gets very low at dam. Put in ar Dover launch and have fun paddling with the current up the river.
Some bird life including eagles.

Very good paddle for beginners and paddlers who are not very strong.
