Castle Point Dog Park

Castle Point Dog Park is a small, fenced area suitable for dogs to run around freely. It features wheelchair accessible entrances and parking, making it accessible for all visitors. While it lacks separate sections for large and small dogs and does not have a double gate system, the park provides a combined space for dogs to enjoy. Visitors have noted limited amenities, such as shading and overgrown grass, and issues with cleanliness, particularly dog waste not consistently picked up by users. The park does provide dog waste collection bags and a trash bin outside the entrance, and there is seating available. Despite these concerns, it offers a relatively quiet and safe place for dogs off-leash.

Dog pop EVERYWHERE! They supply collection bags and a garbage bin just outside the park entrance. There should still be some responsibility on the complex to maintain the grass and keep it relatively clear of excess wastes.
Grass is overgrown. My dogs wanted to get out of the area as quick as possible. Dog feces not picked up. The area is very small. I wouldn’t consider it a park.
The dog park is a postage stamp with a fence around it. Nowhere in this complex is dog poop free! I pick up after my dog every single time! Just be VERY aware of where you step! I’m sure the mail carrier is thrilled to get dog poop on his shoes everyday!
The park itself is great. Not huge, but large enough to let a dog run around. Also, never busy; in fact, I’m usually there by myself or one other dog owner. My issue is actually that a number of the people who use it a) don’t clean up after their dogs (the far end always has piles of dog poop everywhere), and b) they discard their cigarettes on the ground around the bench inside. My dog, like many, try to pick these up in his mouth, which is frustrating.
Fairly small and not alot of accessories to it. Could use some improvements a double gate system and more space allotted with shading options as it has been some rather warm summers here lately lastly separate areas for large and small dogs some owners don’t feel comfortable using it due to the size of some visiting dogs by comparison.
