South Amherst Community Park

South Amherst Community Park is a small, quiet community park featuring a playground, pavilion, and paved walking path about half a mile long that borders a tree line. It is wheelchair accessible with amenities including picnic tables, public restrooms, and play equipment such as slides and swings. The park is dog-friendly and offers a nice place to walk dogs. While parking is limited during events, it remains a pleasant spot for families and dog owners.
Reviews
Badly insufficient parking to support 4 soccer games. Yes, I know there are only 2 fields but when 2 games are ending and 2 games are starting immediately there are EIGHT soccer teams and fans present.
Woefully inadequate. You’re all fired.
New basketball court and play ground for kid’s is nice. Soccer field is closer to a hey field then anything else.
Clean and quiet. Nice walking trail with benches. Playground equipment rickety.
Nice place to walk dogs. Could use more kid-friendly play equipment.
Small community park with a small play ground. It has a pavilion and a paved walking path that is about a half mile that borders the tree line. All & all, if you live close by, it’s a nice little park.
