I’m extremely frustrated with the parking policy at SOMIS RANCH APARTMENTS We recently moved into a 1-bedroom apartment, and when we tried to add a second car to our lease, we were told it’s not allowed. The management claims it’s due to parking space limitations, but it feels like a clear case of unfair restrictions.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to people whom don’t want to be woken up at 5 am daily. The structures seem new but the ceilings are weak and there’s not a day you can sleep in past 5 am. Their excuse is people work in Agriculture and you must suck it up buttercup. Another big issue you don’t and won’t have privacy, they alter the doors from the bottom, so they can pretend their delivering papers to you and they can get to see what you’re up too. They also say, they have authority to come inside your apartment at any given time, you’re like a prisoner you wake up at their time and then their excuse is they’re agriculture workers. I am sure all the children ages 5 and under, do not have any business being woken up at 5 am daily. But here they will, as the neighbors have to rise early well so do you, even when you plan on sleeping in. I won’t recommend this place to anyone that prioritizes their sleep and privacy! The manager sucks big time and she thinks she can do whatever she wants with residents. I hope the owner of the property hires a new manager, because this one shows zero integrity in her dealings. She advises you to contact the Sheriffs department if there’s noise complaints, instead of her doing her job. It’s intriguing.
