JSP is a great community park with a playground, ball fields, basketball gym, hiking trails, and picnic tables. There are two large and several small pavilions that you can rent if you like. Fun for the whole family…
Bigger park, they have made a few improvements. Has baseball fields and small playground for kids. Has walking trail as well.
I love this park. Me and some of my work friends ride our bikes here at this park. It’s very peaceful and the trail is wonderful. The only problem is that when we go to the park with our kids there is homeless men sitting around and it scares our children, and when we are in need of water the water hoses do not work other wise I recommend going to this park.
A nice but very well used park with playground. Has nice shade and play equipment for younger ages. No swings for school age kids. 6 baby swings. Monkey bars. Lots of places to play chase or hide and seek. The walking and bike trails start at the play ground and go to the back of the park.
We didn’t see the playground at first. Turn left just past the first parking lot. The playground is in the trees at the far end.
If this helps you, give a thumbs up.
brought my teenage boys to see my adult daughter and my grandchildren, who i havent seen in a couple of months. it was so much fun watching them play on the playgrounds. they have 2 play areas, one is in the shade and it’s mostly slides and the other is on a big pad and it has lots of different activities including slides. there is a merry go round that is flush with the ground and another thing that you can stand in and rock back and forth..along with some swings. it’s really fun for the kids and in a convenient spot in slidell. there’s also a thing to climb on and a big “nest” to protect (pile of dirt)
