Honestly the playground is for 6 and under but it’s a nice place for a pick-nick and the fallen tree is a nice stargazing place,

I walk here when the creek is closed to traffic. There is a lot of foot traffic of families bicycles and people on on the track however there’s plenty of space for social distancing and individual exercise

Loved this walk with the family, especially the little side trails. My granddaughter led a calm moment where we listened to the sound of nature punctuated by the conversations of fellow nature lovers.

A very well shaded Small Park off the bike route in Takoma Park to let children run around and play.

There’s a Medium Sized Wooden Jungle-Gym with Three Poles, Medium Metal Slide, a Little Wooden Bridge, Monkey Bar’s, and Two Swings (One is the big plastic sturdy swing with a 3-point latch to close you in [great for children with disabilities or small children or even an adult], and a baby swing.) NO REGULAR SADDLE SWING!

Three Park Benches and a Picnic Table. There is another Picnic Table and Park Bench across the Sligo Creek Bridge. No Park Grills, so bring your own

Parking For 11 vehicles off Sligo Creek and another two small parking area’s off of Hilltop Avenue each with 4 spaces and one of them also has a handicap spot.

Easy access to let kids play in the creek with shallow areas. A couple fallen trees to go over from one side of the creek to the other.
