🐾 Kids at the Dog Park: Real Stories, Safety Risks & Smarter Solutions

Greylock Park, nestled in Shrewsbury, MA, stands out as a peaceful and welcoming dog park perfect for neighborhood strolls and dog-walking adventures. Though a bit hidden with its semi-secret entry off a side street, those who find it are greeted by a lovely layout including a looped concrete path, picnic tables, benches, a swing set, and a play area for kids. This park offers a quintessential small neighborhood vibe with plenty of scenic views and a reputation for being clean and quiet.
While Greylock Park is a favorite spot for daily walks and family outings, keep in mind that restroom facilities are not available onsite. Parking is easiest via Avon Avenue, with a more accessible walkway entrance compared to the grassy lot on Sadler Ave. Its combination of family-friendly amenities and peaceful settings makes it a top pick for dog owners and families seeking laid-back, pet-friendly trails and a safe gathering spot in Shrewsbury.
So far so good, I wish they can think of restrooms to be placed somewhere near.
We need restrooms here.
People with dangerous dogs needs to stay away from kids.
love this park, walk here every day
Parking on Avon Avenue and taking the walkway entrance there is a lot easier than parking in the grassy lot on Sadler Ave.
Lovely, quiet park. Nice layout with tables, benches, swing set and play area for the kids. A concrete path loops through the area
great place, clean and people are nice!
It was a bit on the small side and the entrance was semi hidden in a side street. Although, the part itself was nice and had plenty of pretty views. It certainly strikes me more as a neighborhood park than town park.
