Beautiful beach. If you’re brave you can wade/swim along the edge of the rocks at the west end of the beach around the point. If you go about 200 feet, there is a sea cave you can climb through and get a view of Miner’s Castle.

The coolest sand is on miners Beach. It is thicker than normal sand so doesn’t blow all over and it is so pretty. Flat rocks with a over flow on another side of the sand that the kids really loved. You can also walk the rock wall to find caves with a rope to swing we didn’t go with the little ones but heard it was awesome.
Enjoyed watching a beautiful wedding which brought us to the beautiful Upper peninsula of Michigan.

Came during the off season and it was still beautiful just a bit chilly. Off-road parking, restrooms, and waste & recycle containers on site with stairs leading down to the beach. Walkable trail connecting to Miners Castle Rock. The beautiful trail is about a mile long with a somewhat steep elevation change about halfway. Passed family with children walking the trail as well.

This beach was absolutely stunning!!! Because it’s nestle right between Miners Castle and Elliott Falls, it has an abundance of rocks, if you are rock hunting. Beautiful stones! We went on a Saturday afternoon Labor day weekend and it was super packed. No parking at all. It was a short 5-10 minute hike to the beach. There’s also a wooden stairway to the beach, definitely not stoller or wheelchair accessible.

Absolutely beautiful beach. Short walk from the parking lot to steps down to the sand.
