Located in the heart of Shenandoah, Virginia, Shenandoah Dog Park is a simple, pet-friendly area designed for local residents looking for a quiet spot to walk their dogs. While this location is called a dog park, it’s important for visitors to know that there is no fenced-in area here, and dogs must remain on a leash at all times per local regulations. The spot is better described as a small, grassy lot that provides a peaceful environment to stroll with your pup or enjoy a quick break outdoors.
The park features a gazebo and picnic tables, making it a comfortable stop for both dog owners and families. Wheelchair accessible parking is available, and the park is good for kids, offering space for everyone to relax. Although water fountains and poop bags are not provided, waste is generally picked up and disposed of, helping keep the area tidy. Free public Wi-Fi is available, adding an extra convenience for visitors. If you’re seeking dog-friendly places in Shenandoah or easy access to a pet-welcoming outdoor space, this small park may suit your needs for a quick visit or a leisurely stroll.
I have 2 dogs no area to let them run at all!
It is not a dog park. It is a small lot with picnic table and gabezo. There is no fence. Anyone visiting needs to know it is unfenced and not room to let a dog run (leash laws apply).
