My husband and I stayed at the Shawnee Inn after obtaining a deal at group golfer, and had a great time. We played 2 18-hole games of golf, and they booked us for a different combo of courses for each one so we saw them all. The area is beautiful, the wildlife was amazing and each person- the golf staff, hotel staff or just random people on the course- was SO friendly and nice. We felt right at home. Special thanks to the golf attendant Tyler for guiding us to the right course when we got mixed up on our first day! The rooms are small, and the air wasn’t working correctly because it’s an old old building so if you’re looking for something new and trendy, instead of leaving a bad review, just stay somewhere else. We will be back!

Beautiful old hotel. The rooms are small, but ours was very clean and nice. Don’t trust all the negative reviews. Is it the Ritz? No. It’s a 100 year old hotel with a lot of charm and the golf is great. Staff also very friendly. Well worth price!

We had a great stay, golfed and toured the area. This is a charming historic old inn and they are doing a nice job keeping it updated and clean. The rooms in the outer buildings have newer accommodations from the old main building. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The pool is now open and they did a great job updating it. Thanks for a nice stay, we will be back.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort for a day trip, and it was an unforgettable experience. The canoeing was amazing, and I highly recommend it. One helpful tip: wear your swimwear, as you’ll have opportunities to stop on the small islands along the way and enjoy the river.
Dinner at the River Room was excellent, and the atmosphere was breathtaking. However, I did have a disappointing experience with the bartender. Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would highly recommend visiting this resort. The scenery and overall ambiance made for a wonderful getaway.
