Our 15 month old puppy loves, loves, loves this park and so do we!! Well maintained and clean. We bring her almost every day.

Small walking trail, parts are shaded. Fenced in areas for dog play and agility training with water bowls. Benches to sit on throughout the park. Clean area and bags are provided for cleaning up after your dog. This is the old Washington Lake Park that some of us would swim in in the 90s.

Cedar Lake at Washington Lake Park is currently the dog portion of Washington Lake Park. It has two fenced areas for small/large dogs as well as a walking path, lake, fishing docks, and beach area. It connects to Washington Lake Park via the Butterfly Trail however dogs are not permitted in Washington Lake Park. It’s not a terrible area and improvements are allegedly on the way. It has its own parking area and is accessed off of Chapel Heights Road.

I enjoy bringing my babies to this dog park. The trail surrounding the lake is a nice walk before taking my little babies to the dog park. It’s clean, and everyone is attentive to their own babies as well as yours.

I am VERY disappointed in this “new” dog park in Washington Township. The old dog park was AWESOME, and there was a lot of great memories there!

The newer Cedar Lake Dog Park is totally lame – only ONE tree in the whole fenced in area, and dog toys are no longer allowed.

I donated countless dog toys to the park, which patrons of the park loved and appreciated, but the LAZY maintenance workers are SO LAZY they won’t pick up a single toy and simply mow them over or throw them out!

It’s a total slap in the face, and to make things worse, you actually have to PAY to use the park, unlike most others!

Do yourself a favor and SKIP this park – there are many other local FREE dog parks that are WAY better, including the one in Clayton and Owen’s Big Dog Park in Williamstown. I will NO LONGER patronize this park and hope others will follow suit! I give this park a D- rating, and that is being pretty liberal.
