Nice little lot; not too busy in the fall but can get busy in the summer.

The trail to the falls is short, but has 168 steps.

There are bathrooms on site. This location does require the national park pass.

Nice hiking trail to the falls, lots of steps. Most people don’t seem to know this but if you continue down the trail past the falls it will take you to the lake with stunning views and with great views of the dunes. Dog friendly only on falls trail and beach. Clean bathrooms with running water. State park, pass needed.

Lovely parking lot, pretty decent size.
Restrooms at the trailhead, among the nicest in the whole park (not just vault toilets!).
Trail to the falls & beach is pretty short and easy unless stairs are problematic.

Big, beautiful waterfall is very easy to access & the trail to the beach feels very UP! The falls are within & near the eastern boundary of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore (only a mile or two from Grand Marais).
There’s a large paved parking area (plenty of room for big rigs) and a shady picnic area with tables and grills.
Restrooms are open seasonally.
Dogs are allowed on the steps and the trail to the beach.
