Off the beaten path a bit – that’s good! Two good playgrounds for various ages – and plenty on walking and jogging paths all the way around… they are re-doing the field there as of late winter 2024. I’d definitely visit especially in spring, cool summer day and early fall. Bit of a hidden gem. Great place for birding too!
They park is very clean, it’s open 24 hours , the park is huge there is parking from the beginning of the park towards the end of the park by the water. There’s a lot of bench tables , you can bring a kayak, you can also fish in this park as well. There are 2 playgrounds, so kids have options. You can also see a beautiful view of NYC . A lot of mosquitoes when you’re close to the water so make sure you bring bug spray.
Too many bugs in summer. So big for dog run. Better come in winter. Nice view
Absolutely beautiful park. It has two playgrounds, one for bigger kids, one for smaller kids (though it’s still fun for older kids). They even have a small ropes course next to one of them. There’s also a “playground” for dogs. There’s a walking trail and benches and picnic tables, plus a restroom. My only caveat is that in the summer, there are tons of bugs – swarms of flies and other flying insects. I love this park but I’m not going back until the weather turns cooler.
It’s a cute place in Secaucus to have your morning or evening walk (with a great sunset). There are good playgrounds for kids, a dog park, nature trail to walk or run, some rabbits and deers hiding in the bushes. Nice views to Manhattan skyline too!
