Such a beautiful gem of a place! There are very well kept facilities, great playground area, and lots of educational and historical education. The trails are beautiful and very well maintained. I hope you see more and more of the master plan become more actuality, but in the meantime, it’s a very worthwhile location to visit and get outside!

As a first time visitor here, I was so impressed with this gem of a park.
Everything was clean, the trails are nicely marked, and taken great care of.
I loved the signs in the park showing the different animals, trees, and flowers that can be found here. The children’s book on one of the trails was so sweet.
I had the trails all to myself on the day I visited, but the trails are wide enough that even if it was busy, there are so many different directions to go, that you would not feel crowded.
Probably the best hike I took on my visit to this area, and those included Mammoth Cave Park.
The care and love put into the park is not unnoticed. Thank you!
