This park is by the museum area, and there’s an accessible ramp from the buildings behind it that intersects with the barebones basketball court and play area. From the museum parking though, there was no accessible paved way to get through (unless you trudge over the gravelly/grass area).

The park’s play area was the main “attraction” here and there were two shaded area. The first one by the basketball features larger slides and some Ninja warrior swinging bars and other climbing stuff- nothing too fancy but just the basics. They also had some monkey bars too. The second area had smaller slides and a small set of pull-up rings for the tots. Both areas were shaded, but play equipment was nothing to write home about. A short paved sidewalk connected both play areas; it took give or take 5 minutes to walk through the whole park.

Nice park for the kids. Has cameras set up to cut down on vandalism so all the equipment is still in great condition.

It’s a nice little park. All the play areas are well kept, also has some Akimel O’odham cultural sites near by. On the weekday the Roundhouse Cafe is open. Excellent basketball court.

Wone's Time

It has a lot more to offer since I was a adolescent going over there to eat my lunch during the summer youth program. Back then tho’ it was still a pretty nice place, but still only had one basketball court.
