I like this park, cause is usually quiet. From the many times we’ve been there my children pretty much have the entire park for themselves.
Under repair as of may 18 2025. But it’s a good park for tennis otherwise.
Basketball court is showing its age. Paint peeling off backboard. Cracks all over the court. Not terrible but the possibility is there to injure yourself on one of those cracks. The nets are tattered. Double rims. Scotch Plains has a bunch of other basketball courts that are in better shape and most have adjustable baskets with fiberglass backboards. The only saving grace are the lights.
Great park that contains a baseball field, 2 full basketball courts, and 7 tennis courts. Lights stay on past 10pm.
